META BAN

Eliminates mineral stains and coloration

META BAN is a sequestrant that’s mainly used to remove stains caused by metals such as manganese, iron and copper from all types of pool liners. META BAN solubilizes metals in water and also helps to correct water coloured by these metals. META BAN  is used in combination with META STAIN PREVENT to completely remove metals once they have solubilized in water.

Recommended levels:

• Maintain proper daily levels as determined by testing kit.
• Free available chlorine: 1.0 – 3.0 ppm
• pH: 7.2 – 7.8
• Total alkalinity: 80 – 120 ppm
• Calcium hardness: 200 – 300 ppm

Instructions:

• Application method
  Sprinkle META BAN directly over the surface of the water while walking all around the pool.

  Instructions
  • Adjust pH to between 6.8 and 7.2 and let chlorine level drop below 2 ppm.
  • Add META BAN according to the application method and recommended dosage.
  • Circulate the water continuously for 24 hours.
  • After 24 hours, adjust pH to between 7.2 and 7.8 and alkalinity to between 80 and 120 ppm.
  • After 72 hours, add chlorine.
  • Wait 5 minutes before using the pool, depending on the situation.

  Dosage
  • For coloured water: Add 125 g of META BAN per 10,000 L of pool water.
  • For stain removal: Slowly add water to 150 g of META BAN to form a paste. Apply paste to pool walls or wherever stains are present. Where stains are most prevalent, use a brush to apply the paste.
  • For stubborn stains: Apply product a second time.
